This can now be prevented. If you select a repeat notification in the settings (up to 3 times at different intervals possible), you can simply confirm the intake and stop the reminders by scanning the scan code of the due compartment. The trick: This only works if you empty the compartment and remove the tablets beforehand, as otherwise the scan code would be covered by the tablets. Once you've removed the tablets from the compartment, you've taken them! The app also displays an error message to prevent you from taking tablets from the wrong compartment and also helps you refill the compartments.

The special feature of the medication dispenser (a quality product from the manufacturer of the ANABOX®) is a unique scan code in the bottom of each pill compartment. This solves the following problem: Until now, the reminder to take the pill was confirmed or deactivated with a button. My personal experience (I'm forced to take pills several times a day) is that the reminder often sounds at the most inconvenient time. If you turn off the alarm and don't have the pills on hand and take them immediately, but postpone taking them, you'll easily forget.

In the latest version (3.0), the app supports a patent-pending process from smarTaBox. As usual, the digital medicine cabinet reminds you via push notification when it's time to take your pills. What the app now has on board is a small sensation! If you go to More/Settings, you'll find a new menu item called "7 Days SMART." If you then activate this function and select the "4 Compartments" option, the app now supports the brand-new WEPA 7 Days smart4 medication dispenser, which has been available exclusively in pharmacies since the end of April 2024.
